# Subscription

> Choose a plan, apply a promotion code, and manage, cancel, or resume your monthly subscription.

Some providers offer a monthly subscription, most often for access to their [Club](https://docs.usejuiced.com/customer-portal/club.md). You'll find it under **Billing** → **Subscription** in the sidebar, which appears when your provider offers a plan or you already have one.

Subscriptions are charged to a saved card each month, separately from your wallet.

## Subscribing

1. **Pick a plan.** If your provider offers more than one, each shows its monthly price and how many Club claims it includes per month (or **Unlimited claims**).
2. **Choose a card** under **Pay with**.
3. **Add a promotion code** (optional). Enter it under **Promotion code** and click **Apply**. If it's valid, you'll see the discount and exactly what you'll be charged today and at renewal. Click **Remove** to take it off. Codes that are expired, used up, or don't apply to the plan show an error instead.
4. Click **Subscribe**.

The page tells you what you'll pay before you commit, for example "The card you choose below will be charged \$49.00 today and on the same day each month." Your access starts once the first payment goes through.

### No card on file yet?

You'll see **Add a card to get started** and an **Add a card** button, which takes you to [Payment methods](https://docs.usejuiced.com/customer-portal/billing.md#payment-methods). Add a card there, then come back to subscribe.

## Your active subscription

Once you've subscribed, the page shows your plan name and status, your monthly price, any discount (with the promotion code you used), which card it's **Billed to**, and when it **Renews on**. If a discount lowers your next charge, that's shown too.

### Payment problems

If a payment doesn't go through, a notice explains what happened and offers a **Complete payment** button.

* **First payment incomplete** means your card may need extra authentication, or the charge failed. Complete the payment to start your access.
* **Past due** means your latest renewal failed. Complete the payment to keep your subscription active.

While a payment needs attention, the [Club](https://docs.usejuiced.com/customer-portal/club.md) page shows a **Manage subscription** button that brings you back here.

## Canceling and resuming

Click **Cancel subscription** and confirm. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and then doesn't renew, so you keep your Club access until that date. (If the first payment was never completed, canceling ends it immediately.)

Changed your mind before the period ends? Click **Resume subscription** to keep it going.

To switch to a different plan, contact your provider.

## Good to know

* The card your subscription bills can't be removed from [Payment methods](https://docs.usejuiced.com/customer-portal/billing.md#payment-methods) while the subscription is active. Cancel the subscription first.
* If your provider has turned off card payments, or your account is archived, you can see your subscription but can't change it.
* Only users who are allowed to add funds can subscribe, cancel, or resume. If the buttons are disabled for you, ask whoever manages billing for your business.
